It's likely that every day we make cancer cells. Fortunately for most of us, our immune system is up to the task of eliminating them before they become a problem.

Cancer prevention begins at a cellular level. At some point in the evolution of cancer, cell division goes wrong. A mutated division leads to a malignant line of cells that if left unchecked can grow into a cancerous tumor. Effective cancer prevention must target this cellular level of origin.

It's important to remember that cancer screening is not a form of prevention. Early detection is helpful, but how much better would it be to never have the cancer become present at all? By the time a lump becomes apparent in the breast, billions of cancer cells have already been formed. By the time PSA begins to elevate in the face of prostate cancer, a similar colony of billions of cells have already taken root.
It can take years for cancer to go from that initial, mutated division into a clinically recognizable tumor.

CELLULAR CANCER PREVENTION

At I.M.120, we have the ability to profile your cancer risk based upon your family history, your personal history, physical exam and blood work. With that information we can recommend a regimen of cancer prevention that will optimize your immune system's ability to defeat cancer before it ever has a chance to take hold.  The proper use of oral supplements, vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin D in diindolylmethane, along with periodic high-dose vitamin C infusions, can help your immune system eliminate cancer cells in the earliest stage of their development. In addition, detoxification can eliminate another trigger for cancer formation.

If you have personal risk factors for cancer, or a worrisome family history, you can do more than just hope nothing bad happens. You can take action with safe and effective treatments to give your body the advantage it needs.
