Strawberry Banana Creams

I have to admit I am a sweet eater. I can pass on anything salty, but put something with a high glycemic index in front of me and it will be gone. So in our house we don't keep anything I consider "temping" foods becuase I will, without even thinking about it, eat it all.
The Fridge. Is it your Enemy?

This is the conversation that came before the picture of our refrigerator:
Me: I really want something.
Dr. Petteruti: Like what?
Me: I don't know, but nothing that's in here (as I stand holding the refrigerator door open for the 5th time, hoping magically something has appeared since I last opened it 30 seconds ago.
Dr. Petteruit: Well, there's some berries or a plum. How about and egg?
Me: An egg, really, it's 9:00pm
Dr. Petteruti: People eat eggs at 9:00pm. It's not like it's that outside the box.
Avocado & Bibb Lettuce Salad With Strawberries

We love this salad at our house. Bibb lettuce is one of the most enjoyable leaves to eat because of the large size of the leaf. Ever try to eat some of the "fancier" varieties and you can't get it onto your fork?
