Living Boulder thanks to Antiaging Medicine

Here I am at 54, after I think 12 knee surgeries (at some point I lost count) running up and down Yawgoo Ski Resort, clearing obstacles, keeping up with my thirty-something wife and my young staff. I practice antiaging medicine so I can live better, not just longer.

I first noticed in my late 40's that I was starting to lose something. It was hard to put my finger on, but I just wasn't the same. Not the same sharpness of mind, not the same physical energy and strength. I started to wonder, "is this as good as it gets?" I was aware of antiaging medicine, but I was not fully knowledgeable about it. I was suspicious. It seemed almost fraudulent, almost too good to be true. Could modern medicine actually do something to slow the aging process and extend useful lifespan? At that stage of my life the answer to the question was very personal and relevant.

My research led  me down many paths one of which was the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine. Here I found colleagues that were serious minded and full of enormous, relevant research data.

As I studied the field, I engaged some of my own progressively minded physicians to guide me through my own journey of antiaging medicine. I suppose you could say I was a first antiaging client at The Pettetuti Center.

I begin to feel the benefits. More mental energy and stamina, better strength in the gym that carried over to all my life activities. My lean body mass increased, my percent body fat diminished. My cholesterol, blood sugar and other markers of health all improved.

My enthusiasm for this field of medicine grew, my studies intensified, I sought out the most rigorous and highly credible avenues of accreditation, eventually becoming board certified by the American Academy of antiaging medicine.

Now my ambition is to share this progressive information with as many like-minded people as care to possess it.

Conventional medicine is not highly motivated to bring antiaging medicine to the people. After all, conventional medicine makes more profit from a large cohort of chronically ill people than they would from vigorous and healthy individuals.

You will not see serious antiaging medicine flowing out of large medical groups or hospitals. They are simply too busy recycling chronically ill patients through the same pathway of infirmity and suboptimal health to bother pursuing advanced prevention. After all, real prevention renders much of their high tech procedures and interventions superfluous.

10 years ago I was told I needed my knee replacement. Perhaps someday that prediction will come true. For now I am grateful to have discovered the benefits of antiaging medicine. I intend to continue advancing the most progressive and useful elements to keep myself and all my patients young, vital, and living the longest possible lifespan.

This journey is not for everyone. It requires a commitment of time, money and a philosophical and intellectual understanding of what can be achieved.

I invite you to join me as we seek to keep the fire burning brightly every day we live.

So today I ran. Up and down hills, over and under obstacles, with joy in my heart and with a spring in my step, hoping more and more people will embrace the life lived fully that antiaging medicine can offer us. Join me, and we will fight together.
